By Cruiser from Colorado on 09/10/2009 Pros: Easy To Read, Good Quality, Reliable, Stylish Best Uses: Everyday, Formal, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic, Classic, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the Hanowa Chronograph with the regular stainless band and case a couple of years ago and have been thoroughly satisfied with the quality and reliability of it. So I decided to pick up the black version. It's a bit on the shiny side at first but wearing it around quickly takes just a bit of the sheen off making the watch look classy and understated. Overall it's a great timepiece. Oh, and to set the alarm you simply pull the crown out to the date adjustment and then turn it the oposite way that you would to change the date.

I have a Rolex and a LeJuor, but I wanted somthing
that could be used when traveling and I wouldn't have to worry about losing it or being robbed. It's a nice watch, good looking, but heavy. It also has a lot of sharp edges that should be rounded off so it would be more comfortable. Overall for the price it's good. My main concern is how long is the black finish going to stay on. Once it starts wearing through the watch is done. Time will tell.

I have been looking for something like this since I lost my last "classy" watch. It looks pretty nice, the black metal is a nice, less blingy touch. I've only had it for a week, so I can't comment on it's reliability.
