I've used them around the neighborhood a bit, and the grips are very comfortable. The way the adjustments work is pretty cool and feels very secure. It comes with summer baskets. They're a little tricky to get on, then nearly impossible (well, completely impossible so far) to get off. I put them on to check it out, then tried to take them off, and I can't. Only put them on if you need them.
These are a great deal on a good quality, comfortable, lightweight pole.

However, I picked these since I had no previous experience with poles.
These are on the light side, but have no sock (After using these for a while, I think this is a non issue). For the money, these are excellent. I expect that I will ultimately purchase a set of GO-LITE fixed poles for ultra light weight backpacking
