The spool runs true unlike other high priced milled bar stock reels. Top quality components and drag is ideal. Very nice sealed drag mechanism and smooth movement. Anodizing is high quality. Graphics are classy.

The experts say a fly reel is just to hold the line, nothing more. They're right but this reel appears to be well made as well as artfully made. Having something a little above the average line holder adds to the experience of casting a good fly rod. This covers that area nicely.
