This will dress up or down depending on accessories and shoes. True to size rather than "vanity" sizing; I wear an 8 or a 10 and need a 10 in this brand. I am tall and the dress hits me just below the knee; shorter wearers might need to take the hem up if a shorter length is desired.

So, I am not sure if it's the dress or me. Not sure if I can alter it or not, so I haven't decided whether or not to keep it. The price was incredible, though!
