I wear a 32 or 34 depending on the cut. The 34" was loose and baggy while the 32 has a bit of room to spare. The pant looks ok with a shirt tucked in and is comfortable on an extended hike. They won't go with me backpacking due to the weight but are definites for a chilly night at a resort.

The waist on these run at least 1 size small. I've worn 38 waist for years, and these weren't even close to buttoning. Order up a size and you should be good.

These are very good for casual wear, travel comfort, and camp wear. They are extremely comfortable due to design but especially because of the fabric. Can be worn with a casual sportcoat. Pockets are well designed for function. I love these pants.
