Drawing inspiration from the versatile gabardina of the middle ages, Thomas Burberry crafted the traditional gabardine of tightly woven worsted wool for a high sheen similar to that of twill. The tendency to hold shape, resist wrinkles and maintain a well-polished look were the reasons behind Arnold Brant’s use in this impeccably tailored blazer, suitable for the transitional seasons.

Hard to buy long distance, but it worked ! Pleased with price and all about the jacket. He has needed a classic navy blazer for awhile, but hard to find. Either too cheap, or way too high priced.....He does not wear his the way my generation was expected to....ALWAYS !

The material is very fine and attractive. I haven't tested its wrinkle-resistance yet, but hope it lives up to that claim as well.
