By Josh from Tupelo, MS on 11/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a lightweight jacket just to wear around town and to wear to work, this is the perfect jacket for that. It looks great. I ordered the watermelon colored one which is green. I was worried about the color at first becuase it looked brighter online but it was actually darker than it appeared. It is very soft and comfy. A great buy for the price, much better in my point of view than The North Face.
By Dog herder from Ithaca, New York on 11/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like to take forever looking at items on line, or not. This was a great purchase, just what I was looking for. Also it was on sale at a local dept. store for [$] more than ST. [...] good choices.
By The Freedom Goliath from St. George, UT on 11/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Pit zips, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ended up returning this jacket, not because of quality, but because I was expecting something thinner for layering purposes. This is more of a jacket-style fleece which would be great under a shell, and i would keep it if it wouldn't be a repetitive piece of gear.
The construction is solid, i like the hardface on the sleeves for durrability. The underarm (or pit) zips are excellent, adds to the versatility, and are rarely seen on fleece jackets. the colors are great (I ordered the bright green).
Cons: it's a personal preference: I don't like the elastic bands at the wrists. It's silly to list bulky as a con for this... as fleece is bulky.
