Well made and well designed By Guitar Packer from Dunes of Lake Michigan on 06/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I have had them for just one week. I was most impressed with the leather upper (inside the shoe). Many light weight hikers have the "budget" cloth inside and wear too quickly.
My only concern is the shoe feels a bit wide, and there is not a lot of space to lace them up bringing the sides together.
Overall, a nicely designed low hiking shoe and will provide much more support than many of the "fashion" approach shoes.
