Brown are huge in the waist, DO NOT have side pockets (website says they do and the black pair I have does have side pockets). Unfortunately STP doesn't have XS size so I guess I'll be returning the brown ones [...]

I don't find them tight in the crotch at all, as previously described. They are remarkably comfortable. They are a fashionable, feminine light workout pants - not good for serious running and certainly not for biking, but great for yoga, causal day at work or around town, and loafing around the house.
