I wanted something warm and loose enough to wear over about anything. I get tired of fitted sweaters that don't fit over shirts and fleece tops etc. So this really fits the bill. It is nice enough to wear over a dress when going out but will mostly be worn over jeans and around the house. I wear an 8 (sometimes 10) and I got a man's large as I have found in some cases a Med isn't very loose. In this case, the large is plenty large. A med would have been fine, but since i was going for the loose look will keep the large and may get another one in M down the road. The sweater is thick and warm and gorgeous and not itch and I hope my husband doesn't steal it!

The price is excellent and the quality is also excellent. I liked it so much I purchased two, one in Navy and one in Ecru. The last cardigan I bought several years ago and it is well worn out. I would recommend (as others have) that one order the next size up as these do tend to fit smaller - I always wear a size large, but the size xtra large fit very well.
