Beautiful boots! So happy By a very happy mom in Seattle from Seattle, WA on 09/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Flexible, Great Traction, Sturdy/Durable Best Uses: Everyday, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I fell in love with this boot the moment I saw it, but I was hesitant about the calf size & height of boot/shaft being too tall. I read other's feedback about the boot running a little large, so I risked taking a 4 1/2, I normally wear a 5 to 5 1/2. The 4 1/2 fit perfectly! I am short (5'1) w/thick calves and was really worried if I'll be deeply disappointed, but no. The boots fit in every way! I think the height of shaft is sized accordingly to size, and it wasn't like what the description said 15", not for a 4 1/2". Very happy with the purchase. Can't wait to stomp puddles with my kids when it starts to rain in Seattle! Awesome quality & fit for the price.
By Doglover from New York, NY on 03/25/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Gardening, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Comments: I bought these for city walking in the rain. There's nothing worse than showing up to work with your pants completely wet. I haven't tested long-term comfort yet i.e. walking for more than 30 minutes in them but so far they seem great.
