By Jen the driver from Erie, PA on 09/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Functional, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wear like iron Cons: Don't like the laces Best Uses: Cold Weather, Outdoor Work, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Great for my job Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these for work. I drive a paratransit bus and am in and out all day long in all conditions assisting our various customers. These boots are great. They keep my feet toasty warm and dry and put up with an awful lot of abuse. My only complaint are the laces. They untie themselves quite easily even when knotted. This is due, no doubt, to having a round rather than flat configuration and being made of slippery material. Flat laces would be better.
By Witchone from Norwalk, CT on 07/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Multipurpose, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Hiking, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Useful in any wet weather, Working in the rain Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use these for working in wet conditions. Because they are mesh, they are appropriate for summer or winter.
By No More Cold Toes from Philipsburg, PA on 04/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I suffer from cold toes most of the time. I've been looking for an insulated and waterproof shoe/boot that's not a hunting or work boot. This boot is the perfect solution. Not too heavy and bulky but sylish and comfortable enough to wear every day. I don't even have to wear two pairs of heavy socks like I do with my hunting boots. And the laces pull tight in just one yank. Just make sure you order a size bigger like recommended. I did and they fit perfectly. I love them!
