Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed in the "sherpa" part. Sherpa to me is the fuzzy ivory sheep-like stuff; this is more like a wool blanket. It is nice and I like the lining, just was expecting sherpa. The coral color is not pink like it may appear; it is a beautiful clay color (like another reviewer said I chose to believe when ordering-thank you). The cut is very feminine and fits curves (chest and hips) well without being too big everywhere else. The long tail is great for drafts and keeping out debris when you are working hard. It is a very warm vest, but very lightweight and easy to move around in. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. The problem now is I may need another one for work as I seem to be wearing this one to work and out places.
