Closeouts. Handsomely modeled after the original British officer’s coat, Barbour’s Collingwood trench coat is made from rugged waxed cotton — built for the country but sophisticated enough for city life, too.
Fabric is a 6 oz. waxed cotton, which is resistant to water and thorns
Warm cotton plaid lining in body
Double-breasted front with logo buttons
Set-in two-piece sleeves with adjustable tabs
Right shoulder cape
Shoulder epaulets
Brown wool facing on collar, neckband, placket and cuffs
Angled button-flap pockets

There were only 2 very minor drawbacks. Firstly, any waxed garment does not breathe but one will wear this garment in cool, wet weather so it's not really an issue. With respect to sizing, if you intend to wear bulky clothes underneath, get a size larger. Due to the cut, the garment may not accomodate a suit or sports jacket.

This coat is excellent for every detail while the color is much better than what has been shown on the screen. My size is 40 and M is perfect with one cashmere sweater inside.
