I would not buy this product again. By jas from mystic, ct on 05/05/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe makes my feet look 2 sizes larger and look clumsy.
By Milestogo from Tucson, AZ on 04/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I hike at least 35 miles per week, mostly on trails but some bushwacking. These boots are a worthy successor to the original Trailmeisters, which I also own and still wear. The IIs are maybe a little beefier and possibly a bit higher volume than the earlier model. They are light but supportive and the soles are sticky and sure. I'm really happy with them-and if they had a little more padding throughout the foot they'd be the perfect light boot for me.
I am very happy with this purchase. By hiking fiend from columbus, ohio on 04/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have not yet put these to the real test (we'll be leaving in a couple of days for Santa Fe where we hope to do some hiking), but wearing them on short hikes in a nearby state park was very pleasant. They have plenty of room in the toebox which I like; and the heavy duty sole gave a nice feeling of support and shock absorption. Great value.
