Closeouts. Atelier’s meticulously tailored pant suit with cummerbund jacket fits the bill for morning meetings and evening soirees. Cummerbund-style waistband is double-pleated in front, then segues into a beautifully ruched inset at center back. Fabric is a wool-like suiting fabric that holds its shape and sheds wrinkles.

The pants are quite long and needed shortening, but otherwise, it fit perfectly. I was leery of the cummerbund styling until I tried it on and realized how flattering that feature is. Some may be put off by the "snaps instead of buttons" on the jacket, but I love the way it looks and I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot in the future.
