Handle broke off with initial charging By Norskei from Indianapolis, IN on 08/13/2008 Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this primarily for camping or traveling for recharging my phone or for emergency recharging, radio and light. First of all, none of the adapters fit my phone (Motorola Razr), then when performing the initial 10min crank charge of the rechargeable batteries as my fingers were cramping from winding and winding and winding, the crank broke off. Not good.

Seems to take a lot of cranking to charge the battery...and it doesn't seem to hold that charge when not using. Overall, it seems like a durable light.
