They're light and easily packable, have two convenient small front pockets, and most importantly, kept me dry on a recent ride home. I've had lots of problems with [$]+ suits leaking, but these performed well and did not leak. They fit over my jeans just fine, and I did not have to remove my boots to put them on or take them off. I cannot rate the durability at this point, but if they last 3 or 4 years, then it will be money well spent.
