I've worn my shirt for three days, and there is NO odor (wouldn't be the case with the REI product, I can tell you). The fit is perfect, they're as comfortable as the high-priced shirts, and they were [$]. That's about half what others want for theirs.

It is more durable than silk, however, and doesn't snag or run. Great colors. I bought 2 of these in different colors and I really like them both equally.
