By Wisconsin walker from Madison, WI on 06/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, No itching, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take my dog to a dogpark virtually everyday. Consequently, I need underwear and clothing I can count on for the coldest days in the winter. Terramar merino wool keeps me warm on the coldest days without adding unnecessary bulk and without restricting my movements. I recommend it to friends.
Good breathable shirt with odd mock neck By Razor from Chico, CA on 05/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Layering, Snow Sports, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took this shirt backpacking and I was pleasantly suprised by its breathability even while wearing my backpack. Sweat was not really a problem as when I took my pack off the shirt seemed to dry relatively fast. Only problem is the zipper but if you don't zip it up all the way then it's fine.
By Z the cyclist from Portland, OR on 05/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Cycling, Gym, Layering, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: An update based on much more usage: This is an absolutely superb piece. I own merino wool products from Patagonia, Icebreaker, and Smartwool, and I think the Terramar Woolskins items are close in quality for far less money. Not quite as stylish, to be sure, but a really good fit, and much nicer and well made than you might expect. The quality and durability has been really impressive. I have worn the mock zip neck nearly every day during the cool weather for the last two years, and it has worked extremely well - wicking well, keeping me comfortable, and protected, with really impressive durability. I do hours of heavy outdoor workouts with this layer throught the winter, and it keeps me feeling comfortable. I can wear this piece for 30 days straight without excessive odor or discomfort. Try that with any synthetic! While I still use some other base layers under certain conditions, I can't imagine going back to synthetics for daily use.
