These pants are light enough to wear during summer in the south and durable enough to wear into the bush though not into the thickest or nastiest of briar patches.

I tried two pairs of the Carhartt jeans that were sold as having no noticeable blemishes. The first pair I received had a patch on the knee. The second pair having a stitch running up the back of the leg. I was not happy with the way these were sold. I wouldn't purchase another pair of Carhartt jeans.
