The light brown looks dull in photo (unless you zoom in) but great in person - very textured pale plaid. Good on his olive complexion. (He works for an environmental group, so this is primarily an office shirt for him.) It launders well, is sturdy and soft, and has the quality we have learned to expect from Orvis. Could not beat the price.
