If you normally wear an undershirt under a polo, these shirts won't allow it for size. Some polos, like Columbia, are sized much larger. If you have more of a belly, I think these will be too snug. They are more of an athletic fit. Also, if you are at the TOP of your size range, you might consider going next size up.
