Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Basic but adequate. Calf zips are just long enough - adequate. The two slash pockets are neither too shallow nor luxuriously deep - adequate again. I'd like them a lot better with at least one zippered hip pocket. Fabric is light and nicely woven. Fabric allows free movement, but the pants still manage to keep their shape. I would describe their "tapered fit" as a medium cut, so they're neither baggy, nor immodest. Vertical seam down the front vaguely resembles a pressed crease. They don't look out of place in the gym OR the supermarket. But if you wear them to the supermarket, put your wallet safely in your sock.
