SportHill Explorer II Shirt - Long Sleev By Frank from Upstate, SC on 01/19/2009 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Blocks wind, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for cold weather running. I no longer need multiple layers. Other than a wicking tee, this is all I need for winter runs in my area. I've only used on three runs, but so far I love it.
By Running chemist from Urbana, IL on 11/25/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second half-zip long-sleeve running shirt from Sporthill that I've owned and I love both of them. I don't know the name of the other one, but this one is not quite as fleecey-soft on the inside as my other, but it's still comfortable. I've been comfortable in this shirt down to 32F without putting another shirt on underneath it (as a baseline for my tolerance for cold, I start wearing tights a few degrees below 40F). The sleeves are sufficiently stretchy that you can pull it over your hands without putting tension on the rest of the shirt that would pull against your neck (which is a problem with many other ls shirts).
