Great jacket; order one size larger By Mindfree from NYC on 11/12/2008 Pros: Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I should have followed what other said about this jacket: order one size larger. Remember this is European size so it is one size smaller. I am 5'11, 170lbs, normally wear 38 suit and sie M. I got Medium first and had to exchange for a Large as it was too tight. L fits very well. Feels very comfortable and warm. Loved it.
Great jacket but cut tight and short By blue-eyed devil from Arlington, VA on 11/12/2008 Pros: Dries Quickly, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A fantastic jacket; super warm, very waterproof, very windproof, and NOT bulky. Stylish, but not over the top. Tight fit; I wear a large and figured this was a euro-cut. But since an XL wasn't available, I gambled and went with a large. It fits, but barely. Sleeves pull up a little in the stretched position, but it covers the waist enough. Oh, did I mention it's super warm. A steal at this price, if you can get the right size, and even if you only get close. Just needs an arm or chest pocket and it would be perfect.
By Maitland from San Francisco, CA on 10/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Protection from the Elements, Lightweight Best Uses: Road Biking, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: At 6' 170 lbs long & lean, size L fits nicely!
Fit: Sleeve length works well for reaching handlebars w/o looking too long when walking around. Velcro wrist adjusters & elastic work well around sleeve opening. Bottom fits my 32 waist w/ snug fit, fit is close around stomach but not tight. If you have more stomach, may be more tight. Back length is 27.5" but front is shorter, my guess is ~23". This just hits above belt line when I stand up, fits great tho when leaned over to handlebars. With 42 coat size, chest and shoulder area fits right, can move my arms & breathe deeply just fine.
Style:
The pic doesn't show it, but there are red fabric accents on the forearms.
Features:
It'd be nice if they had hand pockets...Mesh-lined zip pockets in back are side-entry, could act as vents too? Rubber strip around waist opening keeps jacket from riding up. Reflective piping goes across mid back, and then down back/side of sleeves. Textran outer material feels very durable, I suspect interior fleece may pill a little over time...I'll have to see.
