Not really a toasty slipper unless you have warm feet or like to wear socks. I'll start using them in the spring. They also will be great to add to a suitcase as they are very lightweight.
Also I trusted the feedback of others and got 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear - and they fit good.

The ribbon can be tightened or loosened to adjust the fit. The slipper has a good sole and can be worn for quick trips outside. I put these slippers on in the evenings while reading and sipping herbal tea and put them on first thing in the morning upon rising. A good purchase!

I usually wear a 7 1/2 shoe, but most slippers only come in whole sizes. An 8 is too big and a 7 too small. But I read the reviews and they all said order a size or 1/2 size down. I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly!
