This jacket fits him well in body length and sleeve length but the waist band could be a little tighter to keep wind out. The pockets are open at the tops and "scoop" snow when you have to lay on the ground to work, flaps over the pockets would be a good idea. Carhartt quality is great, I wish I had one for myself.
