The material feels stretchy. It's cut slightly smaller than the 16 penny jacket by Cloudveil (my nephew wears one all the time) and it's also not as sturdy because its unlined and the fabric is different (cotton vs. nylon). I wear a 42Long suit jacket and this fit without a lot of extra bulk around the middle.

I should have taken the advice of previous buyers. Unfortunately, I had to return it.
