Excellent paddle, acceptable limitations By Old Man Adrft from Denver CO on 09/24/2008 Pros: Improves Comfort, Improves Kayak Function, Reduces Fatigue Cons: Pin offset unadjustable Best Uses: Day Trips, Recreational Paddlers, Touring Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The singe offset is locked with a large pin and cannot be drilled for additional offset angles. Slightly more flutter than the “Ergo” model. Overall an excellent paddle with some limitations. Current version of this paddle has featherlock which infinitely adjustable but cost [$]

The shaft seems standard diameter to me - however the blade is slightly oversize. Still has the old style push pin connector - which is fine. You could probably carefully drill another pin hole if you wanted adjustable off-set, but this would probably void the warranty.
