Haven't used it yet, just opened it up to check it out. Yes, there are cosmetic scratches, as expected. And yes, I agree that there are some sharp edges on the windscreens and metal pieces, so be careful. More than that, ours is tough to open and close, with the windscreen catches denting and pushing against the windscreens when closed. It almost seems like we'll break it trying to get it open, but then the catch lets go of whatever it's caught on.
I am expecting high quality cooking from a Primus, and I'm excited about the grill for camping, so we'll give it a tryout. If it performs as expected, it's a lot less trouble than grilling over the fire.

By Mike from Wisconsin on 08/08/2008 Pros: Compact, Easy to Light, Great temperature control, Powerful, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is really well built and puts out quite a bit of BTU action. It heats quickly and evenly. I would agree with one of the earlier comments that there are a few sharp edges, but it's nothing to get too worried about. A lttle sandpaper would do the trick.
It's a winner.
