By Nate Dogg from Madison, WI on 02/07/2009 Pros: Adjustable hood, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Snow skirt, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Arms not insulated, Fake pocket on left front Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket it great. Even though the sleeves aren't insulated it still makes a great winter coat. I made it through a -15(F) winter here in Wisconsin with this coat, with the help of a sweatshirt and long sleeve skirt (it's all about layers, right).
The hood rocks, I barely used a winter hat because the hood is so warm and fits so well. The hood is adjustable so it won't affect your vision when walking!
One downside is that the sleeves aren't insulated, but strangely my arms haven't been cold (probably thanks to layers I wear). I also don't like the fake front pocket (why!?!), which is flap held down by velcro, but with no pocket. The zipper can also be a pain to get started sometimes, but it never gets stuck or comes off track.
I'm glad I own this coat and I wear it everyday.
