By HEM from VT on 06/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice jacket, but cut for athletic fit. Chest and shoulders fit fine, but sleeves were way too long and waist was too tight. I bought a 2XL and have a 44 inch waist.
Lightweight and great functioning jacket By Stryquer from Gainesville, Florida on 05/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great lightweight waterproof jacket. Looks nice, packs easy, feels very durable, and has a hood that can be zipped off, which I really like. Pockets are a bit high if you like to have your hands in your pockets all the time, but if not, its better for putting stuff into them.
By Dr. J. from Farmington, NM on 02/03/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof, Windproof Cons: Too snug to layer under Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to use this as a ski shell, but it is cut very snugly, especially in the chest, and was not possible to wear a heavy fleece layer under it, which is necessary since it has no insulation. I expected a soft shell, something with some flex to it, and this is a non-flexible shell. Seems well made, probably a very good raincoat. Zipper is on the wrong side, which feels strange. Hood seems complicated.
