AWESOME KAYAK!!! ALL AROUND
By THE POD OF KAYAKERS from PORT ST. LUCIE, FL on 7/8/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Easy To Lift, Easy to Paddle, Good Maneuverability, Stable
Best Uses:
Day Trips, Flat Waters, Kayak Camping, Ocean Swells, Rivers
Describe Yourself:
Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Its hard to find a kayak with all the features this one brings thats a tandem. The ability to slide the front seat back for a solo kayak is one of the coolest features you will ever find in a tandem kayak. The included rudder is a great feature and that will allow even better manueverability. I dont use my rudder because I am used to not using one. Even with out it the kayak will turn on a dime. And is soooo easy to paddle solo even for weak or first time kayakers. Storage really isnt a problem it would be nice for it to have a hatch though which can be added. It does have a tendency to take in water on bad circumstances but with some swaying skill or a skirt its not that big of an issue. Highly recommended all around from someone that has tried a number of tandem kayaks this is the best for beginners and experienced kayakers all around!
