By vmorgans from bloomington, in on 09/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: While these gloves are not pretty they are warmer than any gloves we have bought - far warmer in cold windy conditions than wool or thinsulate and perform much better than the $50 gloves we have consigned to the closet.
Fantastic glove for cold, wet conditions By Captain from Petersburg, Alaska on 03/16/2009 Pros: Beats polypro, Dries Easily, Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold wet boating, Cross Country Skiing, Hiking/Running, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great glove for wet, cold weather. We're in Alaska and just couldn't find a good, wool glove that is durable, but this is it. We use polypro, but it gets and stays wet, and doesn't cut the wind like wool. Having alpaca in this glove is a bonus.
