My husband wears them around the city. He does a lot of walking. The footbed has a very thick cushion in it which might cramp the toes of a very wide foot. But this could be replaced by a thinner liner. The cushion is very dense and supportive. It creates a solid step.

Could be a little wider. I bought my usual 11 and a half but maybe should have gone a half bigger.
