I wear them in my running/walking shoes and they fit like a glove, are frictionless, have a bit of cushion but with firm fit for a feeling of support. I was worried about the top of the socks and that they might be short, suck down in to my shoes, or feel bulky around the base of my ankle but they are none of these. The are plenty high and don't move and are completely comfortable. I ordered two pair and want more!
