No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried these socks only once in a pair of comfortable hiking boots that have never once caused me problems and I was hobbling at the end of 5 miles with huge blisters on my heels. I will never wear these again. There is also way too much padding at the toes, making the shoes feel too small.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these for my son to use cross country. His description is to thick and somewhat itchy. They were ok for me and hiking but they did appear worn after one 16 mile day hike in Florida. Hopefully they will hold up better than it appears.
