Fits me great... probably won't fit you By catcog from Salt Lake City on 02/20/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Nonconstricting Best Uses: Intense activity Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you're long-legged with a smallish waist and big thighs, these should fit you well. They are baggy behind the knee, as one commenter mentioned, but for me this is a non-issue.(Only noticed this from a post-activity photo of me while wearing them). I've worn these snowshoeing as a single layer under shell pants and they were fine (breaks were in the sunshine/lo wind, so I can't say how they'd do in extreme cold w/o another layer). On a multi-day trip they didn't get stinky. Anything that gets sweaty, I like to wash in at least warm, so suggested cold wash is a con. I should probably get a backup pair for when these wear out. light-weight, warm and comfortable By KG from St. Paul, MN on 02/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Cons: Would prefer darker color Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: highly recommended for warmth and comfort
By Flatlander from Kansas on 01/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft Best Uses: Everyday Wear, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material is great on these, but is very lightweight. They are well-constructed. Definitely for high aerobic activities where you'll be generating some of your own heat. These have a very awkward fit - very tight around the calf, but very saggy in crotch, behind, and legs, and sit very high, even for a base layer. I have an average to long torso, and these still sat too high for me. Perhaps if I had Tour De France thighs, these would have fit better, but as such, they were only "tights" around the calves, so I'm returning them.
