I would normally be a 6 (10 in Barbour) but in that size this style was much too tight for me. The 12 is better, but large though the waist. It's frustrating because this is the most gorgeous corduroy, much higher quality than you typically see, and the price is amazing...But I wish they were a better fit! Worth taking to a tailor, maybe.

I ordered a UK size 16 (US 12) - I wear a Talbots size 10P and an Ann Taylor size 10. These pants were so snug in the hips and thighs they were obscene. Also, the waist was large - but I have a particularly small waist so that might not matter to some. I wish they had fit! If you have a more straight body style with few curves, these should do well. Remember to order UP.
