I actually ordered two different sizes up from my usual and was still unable to wear either. They both went back.

I found them too large through the waist and much tighter than I'd normally wear through the hips. I'm not sure it was a good decision but after trying two sizes, I ended up keeping the pair erring on the roomy side just because I otherwise liked them so much.

I would normally be a 6 (10 in Barbour) but in that size this style was much too tight for me. The 12 is better, but large though the waist. It's frustrating because this is the most gorgeous corduroy, much higher quality than you typically see, and the price is amazing...But I wish they were a better fit! Worth taking to a tailor, maybe.
