They were an appropriate size but very high in the waist, tight through hips and thighs. I also ended up not liking the pockets, not regular front pockets and funny flap back pockets. Not the pants for me, I ended up returning them.

The fabric is very much summer weight, peached, with comfy stretch, but the size eight on me was enormous. I passed them along to my daughter, as they were just such a bargain, but I don't know yet if she decided to keep or return.
