I got a size larger based on the first review... but they're too big. Love the shorts - so I'll be ordering another pair.
I normally wear an 8 - 10, ordered the 10 and they're falling off mid-wear. They started off fine, but by midday, I found myself hiking my shorts up every other minute.
SO.... maybe they stretch a bit as you wear 'em. Like jeans? The picture definitely doesn't look like the shorts - they seem a tad shorter, a bit flared at the bottom, and definitely cuter.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't think the picture represents these very well. They are much more stylish in person. I usually wear a 2 and had to return them for a 4, which fit perfectly. Although these are canvas, they are very comfortable even in Mississippi weather. Wish they had more colors, as they are perfect for everything from hiking to sitting at the ballpark.
