I noted that Icicle, who also reviewed the dress, mentioned she was afraid the yellow color would wash out blonde complexions. I just wanted to add that I'm blonde with pale skin and, if anything, this yellow dress perks ups my complexion and makes me look more vibrant. The color is very flattering. Icicle is right about it making you feel like you're back in the 50's. Every time I put it on, I feel like Barbara Billingsley waiting for Wally and the Beave to come through the door.

It's pretty, flattering and versatile. Got lots of compliments when I wore it to the office last week! You could wear it to church, work or to a garden party. Dressed up with pearls & nice shoes, it could be a bridesmaid's dress for an informal outdoor summer wedding. It mostly feels true to size. However, I am a D-cup and I found the bodice a little snug-fitting. So if you are busty, go one size up. I put on a minimizer bra and that made it fit nicely. It's only slightly snug so I didn't feet it was justified to rate it as "fits too small" here. It's a very pretty dress, a fantastic bargain, and I highly recommend it.

It fits me perfectly, but I have broader and more muscular shoulders and smaller waist than an average woman. The dress has looser upper section while the waist down is tighter. I am also dark with black hair; the dress may wash out fair women, especially blondes. The blue flowers are beautifully done and do not look cheap. I feel like a woman from the 50's wearing it.
