Very lightweight & itch-free merino wool. I ordered a little larger than usual and it is quite long on me (but I am only 5'2" so anything would be long on me). It is quite stretchy and fits well. I have used it as a base layer just lounging around on a cold day, but I would definitley use it doing fitness stuff, like hiking.

I like a loose easy fit - going up one size was good.
I was concerned that the wool would be scratchy - this is not a problem - wonderful stuff.
