I love them all, but this one has the great benefit of a very versatile style, more so than the others. It looks good on its own. But with its V-neckline and black color, it is also unobtrusive as a base layer under most of my sweaters, which I really cannot say about my bright red Tech-T that goes well only under a very few select things. The fit of the Stella is a little more relaxed than that of my other Icebreakers. I am a size 6 and I bought this both in medium and in small. The small seems the perfect size and will be able to tolerate some shrinking (I have not washed it yet but I know that Icebreaker garments tend to shrink a bit). I have worn this shirt only at home and at work so far, but I plan to wear it on hikes and as a base layer while skiing. I think it is truly a go-anywhere, do-anything piece of clothing, except I wouldn't wear it in extreme heat.

The Merino wool of this shirt performs just as the manufacturer says it will. It keeps me warm in cooler weather and cool in warmer weather, and it DOESN'T retain odor! It's lightweight and dries quickly, so it's great for travel. I wear these shirts for cycling, sleeping, at work, and out to dinner. I like the regular short sleeve length (rather than cap sleeves) for a bit more fabric on my upper arms, also.
