Unfortunately, it wasn't lined and I found it difficult to put on over sweaters or blazers, so I returned it. I was also concerned that the lack of lining would allow the wind to be felt right through it, although the fabric was heavy and seemed durable.

The first day I wore this coat to work, I got many compliments from both men and women. You know you're looking good if a man notices and actually says "Hmmm, that's nice." That's the reaction I got from one male teacher as I entered the office at school. I'm 5'3" and usually wear a size 16W-18W coat. The size 42 fits perfectly with or without a sweater as long as my sweater isn't too balky. I really love the look of this coat with jeans (and everything else.) My only complaint is that I think the leather loops and the toggles look a little cheap. Maybe that's why the original price is so much less than the original price of the shorter version of this coat.
