Not the slightest bit attractive for general use. "Goth" comes to mind. Slippery, shiny fabric and a hood that falls completely over my eyes when up. I sent it back.

I love the hood which is hard to find in a vest. Looks well made and is very warm. The only thing I would have liked, is to have the stitching maybe a chevron or quilted pattern, but that is my own taste. Great vest!

I can wear it in San Diego as well as in snow country, and I'm an avid skier. This can be worn on the mountain over a fitted soft shell, but I will probably just wear it in the spring while in a mountain town. I only say that because I have a lot of ski clothes, and don't really need to wear it on the mountain, but it definitely is an option. The hood is cute, but I think it looks better without it, and it does zip off. I love the studs down the front. Total rocker look!
