By need a new jacket from boulder, co on 02/14/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this just fit me poorly. I'm a size 8 top & a size 10 bottom and the size 8 was a little big in the shoulders and too tight on my butt. Other reviews led me to believe that it would be short enough that my butt wouldn't be a problem but it's not that short. cute jacket - nice sleeve length - the blue gray was really more of a blue
Nice coat, hits at waist. By Hiker Chick from Cambridge, MA on 01/27/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is really cute with jeans. The blue color, cut, and stylish decorative stitching are all much nicer than they look in the photo. It is feminine and flattering, but it does hit just about at the waistline (shorter than I was expecting). Usually I would return a jacket of this length, but somehow this one looks nice and sporty. Just know what you're getting. It is very lightweight and will be great as an underlayer or on a slightly warmer day. I haven't worn it outside yet because it's below freezing right now, and I'm pretty sure this will not be enough. The collar is a little stiff, but the microfleece lining makes up for it. The jacket was definitely worth what I paid for it here and will be great for spring casual wear.
By Linda in California from California on 01/27/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Slightly dressy Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: To me, this jacket is for casual-to-slightly dressed up--not for sports. Almost perfect in its attractive & figure-flattering styling, yet comfortably warm. The light blue color is beautiful but fairly versatile. Very delicate & unusual quilting makes it extremely lightweight yet warm & very pretty. Stand-up collar is attractive & keeps you warm. The styling is very up to date, with the shorter length (might not be as warm as needed in windy weather). One feature I value the most is that sleeves are tapered and elasticized at the wrists, keeping you warm--one seldom sees this. The white piping at the wrist is pretty, but I fear that will get dirty very fast. However, the jacket looks very easy to wash. Incredible buy at the price offered.
