By Lady Henry from Nashville, TN on 11/14/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, fishing, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this coat for a Montana fishing trip -- ordered larger as I wanted plenty of room for layering and some reviews indicated this ran small. I normally wear a 6 but ordered an 8. The 8 had room to spare even with 3 layers under it. The 6 likely would have been fine, but as time was of the essence, and I enjoyed it being plenty roomy for freedom of movement, I kept the 8. This did well at blocking the wind and repelling the water out on the lake and river. I loved the longer length which helps keep the legs warm. Very well made jacket; one I will enjoy a lot.
By dogwalker from New england on 10/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: All weather dog walking, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this coat. I'm pear shaped so the comments about it being small in the hips concerned me however perhaps that person did not notice that it has a long vent in the back which can unsnap for freedom of movement and you can also unzip the front from the bottom if thats not enough. Its very warm but not heavy. It has nice big pockets and the hood does not make me look like an idiot.

This is one of the warmest coats I have ever had. I like that it covers my legs.
