good general purpose jacket By fieldtech from mid-atlantic on 11/08/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm usually size 8, ordered size 10, sleeves are a bit long but the rest of the fit is just right for wearing over cold weather shirts. Waterproofing works well, insulation is sufficient for low level aerobic activity or periods of inactivity, but can be uncomfortably warm for "strenuous" hiking or other high level aerobic activity. More pockets inside the jacket than expected. Hood fits well, even over ponytail. Cut looks great, love the dark blue color.
By nw mom from olympia, wa on 10/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: European, feminine cut runs small- more like a shell but with the lining and rain repellent action we were looking for. Bought this for my 14 yr old and she is very pleased!
runs really small, disappointed By mtnclmbr123 from seattle, wa on 10/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Constricts Movement, Not Warm Enough Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i was super stoked about this jacket when i bought it online -- but when it arrived it was really constricting (I am a medium (7-8) and the medium was definitely too small) and I didn't like the look afterall. i ended up returning it for something more technical and less stylish.
