runs really small, disappointed By mtnclmbr123 from seattle, wa on 10/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Constricts Movement, Not Warm Enough Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i was super stoked about this jacket when i bought it online -- but when it arrived it was really constricting (I am a medium (7-8) and the medium was definitely too small) and I didn't like the look afterall. i ended up returning it for something more technical and less stylish.
By nw mom from olympia, wa on 10/31/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: European, feminine cut runs small- more like a shell but with the lining and rain repellent action we were looking for. Bought this for my 14 yr old and she is very pleased!
By Betsy from Seattle, WA on 10/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Hood doesn't detachfold, No pit zips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Wet winter weather Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted a jacket that would look more stylish than my giant Gore-tex parka worn over everything, but still keep me warm and dry in winter weather. This jacket looks great and seems to be well made. I bought the "shade" color and it is a cool dark blue. I haven't worn it in cold wet weather yet. I suspect I'll miss having pit zips and I place to put the hood when I don't need it. I bought a size up as suggested, so the sleeves are a bit long (I don't mind-keeps my hands warm). But there is room for a thick sweater underneath, and the jacket does not look bulky at all. I gave this jacket 4 instead of 5 stars because I haven't tested it in real weather yet.
